The additional information on Sirius-B
As I commented in the previous page, I am ignorant about double stars.
So I want to get as many evidences as possible. I took the Jupiter with
the same system after taking Sirius and I put the Sirius image on the Jupiter,
which shows how far is the distance visually from Sirius A to B.
Please forgive me that things are not always accurate and complete. Particularly
the size of Jupiter is not sure because the image is so blurred that I
cannot tell where is the limb. It seems I cut the side limbs too much.
Image A Turn the image to be cut. Put the center point on SiriusA. |
|
Image B Cut image along the direct line from the centerA to the centerB. |
|
Image C Jupiter : 43 arc seconds 22:42 Mar.6, 2005 The distance of the two : 6.83 arc seconds (at the point in time of 2005.18 year) You can see six times of image B and a little remainder. |
