Looking For the People....
Paintings by the Children in Stockholm in 1930's (67Years Ago)
A friend of mine has a father who used to learn Esperanto. He had a penpal
in Stockholm, Sweden.
Her name was Elisabet Olsson and she was a teacher. They corresponded with
each other in Esperanto and she sent him the pictures that her students
painted one day. He kept them with care for 67 years and handed over them
to his daughter because she lives in Switzerland now and may have chance
to visit Stockholm. Of course she cannot do anything even if she visited
it but she feels like making contact with the old penfriend of her father
and her students if possible while her father is healthy and fine. She
wonders how the teacher and the students of these beautiful pictures are
now.
I was quite moved with her story and offered my little contribution in
carrying out her plan.
