nu Scorpii, Jabbah, the Quintet !?
I knew the companion star of Jabbah was a double star but I did not know
at all that the Jabbah itself was twin, nor triplet! So I just looked at
the double star component of companion and enjoyed the split. First I saw
it split with TMB 8mm eyepiece and confirmed with Pentax XP3.8mm. It was
not so difficult.
And then I started to take the picture but all the images of the main star
came out long and strange.
I downloaded the double-star catalog and found that the the main star,
Jabbah itself was a triplet!!
Wow! How fascinating! It is a component of 5 stars!
